If you are under 18, you must hold a permit for at least six months before getting your driver's license. We recommend you schedule behind-the-wheel lessons as close to the beginning of this six-month permit period as possible. Our lessons are typically booked three to four weeks out, so signing up two months before you get your permit is ideal for the quickest completion date.
The classroom experience is the basic building block and a critical component for new driver education. We cover rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, dealing with peer pressure related to texting, drinking, drugs, and various other topics critical to becoming a responsible, safe driver.
Successfully complete a road evaluation and you do not need to take the road test with MVD! You will still need to go to either the MVD or a Third Party to have your photo taken and driver's license issued.
